Paso Beban Trekking

This is a great 2 days hike. It starts at km 17 of the Ruta 3 from Ushuaia, and the first step is to walk about 2 hours to the Refugio (shelter) of Cerro Bonete. From there you follow the valley (which will turn west (left) and then straight on till the Paso Beban which is quite easy. Note that there is a shortcut heading up west after about 40 minutes from the Refugio. The climb of the Paso Beban is a bit steep but no real problem and then you will see the Paso beban 2 a bit higher. Once you cross the pass, the valley will very clearly mark the route to follow, About 1 to 2 hours after rthe pass, you will find good campsites. When the river turns right, climb up a bit to avoid to follow the river and then you will see 2 lagoons and a trail quite easy to follow which will trace the route beteween the 2 lagoons. The first lagoon on the right and the 2nd on the left. After the 2nd lagoon go straight on and after 1 hour you will arrive athe the paradise. Bahia Torito.
