Auto post to Gallery - Not

Don't put non-critiqued images in the Gallery.

For the purpose of clubs like the Pig it seems that images should not automatically be added to the club Gallery.

It would seem more appropriate for the initial post to appear only in the Workshop.  Then, after critiquing and possible editing, the owner could add it to the Gallery.

Put some social pressure on people to add only those images that they feel are really good.

That would make the Gallery more of a Gallery.

Sounds logical, but how do you upload tot he workshop without adding it to the gallery from the controll panel?

Can't be done (as far as I know) that way at the moment.

This is an idea for Ali to kick around when he comes back to tweak the site.

Should be a fairly easy fix.  Probably should be an option as some clubs might want it to stay the way it is.

I agree with the idea - nice. It would make the gallery more of a showcase and less of a catchall as it is now.

(Ps. Some tweaking going on in the background now)

Might be that there should be alternate models, if you extend Jeber into a "fits all" site.

For a club like Jeber the Workshop -> Critique/Fix -> Gallery is what I see working.

Could be that there would be "photo sharing" clubs that would want a straight to the Gallery approach.

(By the way, I've been giving TE another try and overall design of this site works a heck of a lot better IMHO.  I really appreciate the "let's kick it around" design of the critique/discussion part.)

Taking the Club Gallery another step.

How about some way to see only the photos from a particular photographer?

That way I could build a "personal best" gallery at the same time I'm moving finished projects to the club gallery.
