Editing on the road...

If you don't have a laptop with you here's a couple of ways to edit your shots....

Here's a handy on line editor that will let you do the basics - straighten, crop, brighten sorts of stuff.  It won't clone or do the more advanced things that you might need.

And here's a much more capable editor that one could (apparently) run from a USB stick, memory card & card reader, CD, or ....

Thanks Bob!  That's exactly what I needed.  Portable Gimp is perfect for quick crops and lightening dark photos (which seems to happen often with my camera).

Great!  When you feel like you've basically figured out the program how about doing a write up - perhaps in the Members Helping Members forum.

And how are you running it, from a USB stick or?

I've been carrying it on USB stick, and copying it to the desktop of whatever PC I'm on.

I've also had Picasa recommended to me - not used it in anger though.
