| OK, we're not doing a good job of keeping the piggy happy. We've got a 'binge and starve' pattern going. Piggy doesn't like being hungry. ;o) How about the few of us who have joined up and are checking in about every day making a concerted effort to pitch a few acorns in the feed trough on a regular basis? Maybe rather than load a whole bunch of images into the Workshop at once, keep most of them in your Image Pool and then add them one at a time? Perhaps go back into the back pages and give a brief comment on an earlier posted image? We've been a little heavy on the post processing (and I've got no problem with that), but equally valuable is some discussion of what makes a particular image work and what might have been done prior to pressing the button. Heck, even some discussion of "When I was there ...." or "I saw something similar in ...." would fit. It's a club for travelers. We could use a few more members and I don't think it likely that people are going to join what appears to be a dead site. (And do some recruiting.) --- OK, you are all appointed club secretary. If you feel that there was unfinished business in the June meeting thread please bring it forward. | ||

| I've noticed the boom or bust cycle too... and I'm guilty as charged of the check and move on syndrome ;). I'll try to do better. | ||

| Yes, we're on one or the other of those cycles now. "Newness" can be the boon or bane of an online endeavor. In a group, only a "certain" amount of the total members participate. And even when things do change, it may not even appear that they do... I'd feed the pig by givin' it new meat. | ||
