The easiest way I have found is to:
- Go into the club workshop page ( http://www.jeber.com/Clubs/Blind-Pig/Workshop/ )
- Click the image you're interested in. You should then be on a page that looks something like http://www.jeber.com/Clubs/Blind-Pig/Workshop/75-1.html
- Just below the main image there is a 'full image' link. Clicking that should give you a pop-up with the full size image that the OP put up ( eg http://www.jeber.com/Images/full/324.html )
- From there right click the image, select 'save image as...' and save it onto your hard drive - I use a 'jeber_workshop' folder for all of the workshop related images I save. It can be usefull to rename the image as well, this will help you find it later in PS, Gimp, Elements etc. In this instance I'd call it 'bob_candle_flames_orig.jpg', but then I like long_descriptive_filenames_with_lots_of_underscores :o)
- After working on the image in your favourite image editor save your new version as 'bob_candle_flames_vers2.jpg' ( or whatever takes your fancy ).
- When you're happy and ready to upload click 'reply' at the bottom of the workshop page ( eg http://www.jeber.com/Clubs/Blind-Pig/Workshop/75-1.html) Select your new version of the image using the browse button, write your feedback blurb in the text box and hit submit. You will then be taken to the page as it will appear to everyone else on the site. NB if you have drasticaly cropped the image and it's largest dimension is now less than 480px you may need to read this thread to resize it.
Having now made your post you can edit it for up to 2 hours or until another user makes a subsequent post to the thread
-------- The bit in bold - is this currently the case or is it just 2 hours right now? Feedback and better methods gratefuly received.

Sounds about right to me. But someone else better test fly it. I'm not good at following directions. ;o)
Just one addition.... If you crop the image drastically you might drop under the size minimum for an upload. In Photoshop Elements and Picture Shop Pro go Image->Resize and enter the minimum size (width = 480).[Edited: 22:32 - BobTrips - Wrong bleepin number] |
