Ohhh, headless parent alert; that's perfect for Halloween! Not so good for a travel photo the rest of the year though; on that basis I might be tempted to crop her out ;)

I'm guessing the kid and/or the bicycles are the subject here? The bicycles and the canal do say Amsterdam to me, so this is successful from that perspective.

I want to crop just to the left of the kid, and then leave the bicycles in the background, but that still leaves a parental elbow stuck in frame.

OK here's my best shot at it; cropped hard on the left, some from the top too. Added vignetting using Filter/Distort/LensCorrection. Slightly desaturated the parent using the Sponge tool.

Yeah, I took the photo quickly because I was afraid I would miss a nice opportunity, and then realized the parental unit placement kind of messed it up. The revision seems a little better  as the child and bikes occupy more space, but it might be something that is ultimately not fixable. Nice job with cropping though, thanks.
