I like this 'piece of trash as art' shot.  It's fun seeing possibilities in cast away stuff.  You did a good job with focus, framing and exposure.

I tried a small crop off the bottom to see if the husk would 'float' a bit without the dark area.  And I cloned out the bit of table that intrudes on the left.

Before clicking?  I think I would have tried moving the husk to that some of the interior was visible.  Perhaps simply spinning it 180 degrees would allow light to hit some of the inner fibers while still giving you a good dose of green.  (It's leaning away from the sun.)

Good suggestion Bob. I've been too  much in reporter mode probably , just recording the views. A little arranging and tweaking isn't that bad.
