You did a good job with focus, framing and exposure. I tried a small crop off the bottom to see if the husk would 'float' a bit without the dark area. And I cloned out the bit of table that intrudes on the left. | |||||||||||||||||||||

Perhaps simply spinning it 180 degrees would allow light to hit some of the inner fibers while still giving you a good dose of green. (It's leaning away from the sun.) | |||||||||||||||||||||
