I was just getting Breakfast ready and out through the kitchen window i saw this rainbow.
More of a challenge than i thought to photograph.

Nice shot Justin! The rainbow is obviously the star of the show; but I also like the way the warm tones of the late afternoon sun ground contrast with the stormy blue-grey sky.

If I were to suggest a few things, firstly I think I'd be tempted to rotate it a little, you may have the horizon dead on, but I think it feels better rotated by 1.5°CCW. You can also boost the rainbow using a bit of coarse USM and/or by ToneMapping with Photomatix. I've also cropped a little off the left hand edge to make the rainbow more significant in the frame. If you don't crop, consider cloning out that blob about halfway down on the left hand edge.
