| Michael L Turner (teamturner) Msg: #1 May 9th 2007 07:17:24 | I have no idea what the light was like in this particular setting but it might have been nice to take a long exposure picture here without the flash. If it was really dark that might not have been possible without a tripod which I never have on hand when traveling so I could completely understand using the flash. If you manually select a higher ISO, I believe that 400 is the highest on a SD550, that might have helped but would add some graininess to the picture. No matter what this was a good catch and more than a little unfortunate that someone had to sleep on that floor. Not comfortable! | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Peter A (Peter) Msg: #2 July 29th 2007 14:16:43 | Yea, I didn't have my tripod handy, and didn't realize the auto flash was on. I didn't want to risk a second shot, lest I be spotted. It was terrible. People were sleeping in some dreadful positions/places., though this was amongst the worst. Behind the vending machines? Gross, dusty, but secluded to be sure. I have a few from that disaster in St. Louis with a long exposure though, and was very pleased with the results. Thanks for the comments. Sorry I didn't reply earlier. | |||||||||||||||||||||
