I like what you were after here, but it isn't quite working for me.  I wish it were not so overexposed.  And I hope you explored the areas around a bit more.  I'd like to see a strong, at least moderately, strong subject.  Something like a dominate limb, ....

I tried a crop and sharpening just for fun.

I disagree a bit with Bob here Cameron.  I have followed a bunch of your photgraphy on TravelBlog.org and find this to be vintage Cam2Yogi work.  Here's what I think I'm seeing, correct me if I'm wrong:  These are shadows of tree limbs over a body of water that is reflacting the sun.  The ripples in the water end up looking like foliage from the trees.  If I'm wrong about the subject no worries because you have evoked a feeling of water while still making the picture look like a stand of full grow trees.  Pretty cool!  Your pictures make me look at the world I'm seeing inj a different way and I like that.

Would I change anything?  I'm not sure I know enough to make the picture better or more proficient.  You might try setting the camera at a higher F-stop to see if you could get a different effect such as a starburst from the sun.  Just an idea.

You're right on about the subject Michael.  Thank you for the comment, and the increased f-stop is a good idea for another effect.  With photography, I try to bring out a different eye on the world and the every-day thing encompassing an essence of a moment in silence, when the insignificant freezes and the whisper within is heard and listened to.
