That's why I'd have gone closer and shot lower - so you'd get the tower more prominent, but all the sky in as well. For me sunsets need something in the foreground layer to really work as photographs - but then that's me ;) | |||||||||||||||||||||

R5 is more a grabber, but R4 is a shot that I'd stand in front of for a while just to enjoy the wonderful shades and tones in the clouds. I'm not arguing that one doesn't need something on the ground to anchor the sky. And I agree that setting the shot up so that the tower was the dominant feature of the ground might have made a great shot. But she was shooting from her room's window.... | |||||||||||||||||||||
