I like the way you've used the balloons and vendor as a framing device for the rest of the picture. I cropped your shot a bit to take the balloons more to the edge of the frame. I also used the Shadow/Highlight tool to bring out a bit more detail in the darker part of the image. My problem with this image is the blown out - totally white - areas in the right center and top. Try using the histogram when you shoot and avoid a bit spike on the far right (unless you're shooting something like a white wall). You can often under expose and pull some detail from the shadows but there's no way to recover detail once you've drastically over exposed. I often set my camera to -.67 EV when I'm out shooting in bright daylight. That way I automatically underexpose a bit. | |||||||||||||||||||||
