Also not sure about the DOF, the near florets aren't quite well enough seperated from the ones in bokeh. Perhaps less uniform lighting would help make them pop a bit more? I also suspect that getting in closer would pay dividends - the pompom like flowers are lovely as are the almost atom-like buds, but they don't stand out as well as I think they should. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Bob Wallace (BobTrips) Msg: #2 August 27th 2006 17:17:58 | Try cropping down a bit. I also did a bit of Levels adjusting. I agree with Adrian. More DOF might have been a good thing here. Carrying focus back further while smoothing out the background might have been better. You've got two subjects, buds and blossoms. Both should be shown. |
