| Andy Leach (RedAndy) Msg: #4 June 11th 2005 02:33:25 | Thanks for the feedback, I've aimed for a mixture of the two. I liked Bob's crop and sharpening, it makes the photo much grittier and real, the original looks like a hazy psuedo statement in contrast. I also like Ali's b/w concept. This should be a hash of the two. The crop is ( I think ) all Bob's, I sharpened as well. Then I worked in two halves - aiming to manipulate the viewer without making it obvious. The left: desaturated yellow and red and lightened a little. The Right: saturated the green and yellow. I might've overcooked the whole thing, any comments on the new version very welcome :-) {edit} What I like best about the new image is that my eyes now go to the left first, he's the main focus, but then they flick between the two halves. Good job guys! {edit#2} I think the difference between the colour of the grass on the two side might be a bit much...? [Edited: 02:39 - RedAndy ] |
