I took a series like this  whilst sheltering from the rain in the vicinity of Angkor Wat on my first day in Siem Reap. The weather couldn't dampen these kids enthusiasm.

I think Brian was on the right track.  Cropping down will make your subjects more dominate.  (The old "If a picture doesn't grab you, you weren't close enough."  Was that Capa?)

Here's another cropped version.  I like the onlookers.  That adds a bit more to the 'story' - the little guys watching the big guys.

I used the Shadow/Highlight tool and sharpened to bring out a bit detail.
