Photographers Note:
This is the photo that should have been. I took this and I was so proud and happy, it looked great on the LCD. Later I saw it on screen next to my partner's of the same lake and I was less happy. It seems like the horizon is too central and it belongs on a box of cheap chocolates. Can anyone bring back my pride?

I think its a great image.  The water isn't dead center and you got a great reflection.

I'd crop it up a bit higher to ditch the light patch at the bottom - it drags my eye down there for no reason.

Here's some ideas.

Cropped it up tighter on the the bottom.  Lightened the wooded slopes, boosted contrast, (forgot to check sharpening).

And I (crudely) cloned out some vegetation that was overhanging the water in the lower right.

If it's just a candy box illustration then make a damned good one.  ;o)

A crop, a desaturation, and a test to see if uploads are working (are on the test system)... (repeat)
