It would probably have been great if there was something of real interest at the end of the arches. I think the best photograph here was of the arched ceiling itself. Take a look at this bit that I cropped out. Imagine shooting this are in portrait mode. Getting at a spot where the arches filled the frame and faded into the distance. I think the curved lines and soft texture and color might have worked to make a very good image. (But I'm just guessing here....) |

| Kristina Johnson (wired2theworld) Msg: #2 March 26th 2006 11:25:16 | Here's another version. I've cropped it, rotated it slightly clockwise, and upped the contrast and saturation. I tried bringing out the detail at the far back, but didn't like it so I put the shadow back. |
