Photographers Note:
Feburary is a favorite month for weddings in India and the Ram Raja Temple is a favorite place for wedding parties to visit for part of their ceremonies.

The Temple has an image of Rama, he who sought to recapture his stolen bride, Sita, in the epic Ramayana.  The story of the temple is that the Rama image, temporarly installed, refused to be removed when the time came and so the temple was dedicated to him.

Bob-This is a fantastic photo. Don't change a thing. How did you get this picture?

Thanks.  'Superzoom'.  Nothing like a long zoom to get one up close and personal from a distance.

Just did my dumb, smiling tourist thing and wormed my way into the wedding.  There were several wedding parties that had come to the temple that day and I took lots of pictures.  This woman had the most beautiful sari and henna work.

In an attempt to make full disclosure I need to say that I have posted this photo (or a frame almost like it) on Trek Earth some time back.  I want to move my better stuff to Jeber so from time to time I'm going to go back to an original, edit it from scratch, and post here.
