I think the ice in the upper right corner messes things up a bit. Makes the corner look out of focus unless you realize what's going on. I tried a little cropping off the top and left. Kind of wanted that one fish to anchor the upper left of the frame. Then I dropped the brightness a bit and sharpened. What you think? |

| Bob Wallace (BobTrips) Msg: #3 March 24th 2006 11:35:47 | Sometimes I can't see huge flaws in my photos. I get caught up in one part that I really like or get involved in the memories/feelings that are specific to me and that blinds me to the 'obvious'. Like the elephant tail picture. I had never taken a close look at the tail of an elephant, the sparse coarse hairs. I focused in on the detail and the texture of the elephant's skin. It didn't dawn on me that 'part of the picture' was missing. --- BTW, it would be nice if people would post files that are as large as allowed (1200 on the long side). If smaller files get downloaded, cropped, resharpened, etc. the outcome can loose a lot of detail. | |||||||||||||||||||||
