Well focused and exposed.  Nice repeating pattern.

Here's my take on it.  I used the Skew tool to straighten up the foremost vat(?).  Then I took some artistic license and cloned away some of the distracting background.

Finally dropped the brightness and increased the contrast.

I'd say that the one thing that you might have done when shooting the original was to get lower so that all the vats overlapped and that bit of plumbing in the second one didn't show.  (But that might not have been possible when touring.)
