Very nicely composed.  Well focused and exposed.

Take a look at a tighter crop and see what you think.  I find the stuff, especially the bit of red, on the right distracting.

I tried a few other things.  I boosted the contrast just a bit and sharpened.  I used the dodge tool to lighten parts of the children's faces.  More careful work might be useful.

The second boy in the background really helps this image.  I'm not sure what the light brown thing is that he's holding (?).  You might try darkening and desaturating it some to make it fade into the background.
