There are lots of things around the edges that distract, that don't add to the image. I did a bit of tweaking to display my ideas. First I did a bit of perspective control, looks like you might not have been standing dead on to the wall when you took the picture. Then I cropped down to the main element, the lit and shadowed wall. Finally I boosted the contrast just a bit and sharpened. Hope this gives you some ideas. |

But the added contrast does really add to the differential between light and shadow. That, a little sharpen does look great. Feedback/critiques are all about sharing ideas, some of which one might like and others not. People's tastes vary and in the end it's the photographer who owns the image. I've had people post edits of my images that I really didn't like. But I generally learned something from them. If nothing else, they helped me better understand my original ideas. ;o) So jump in, give the rest of us some feedback. Share your ideas.
