Then I noticed that the tree was a carambola, a star fruit tree. Interestingly no one seemed to be picking the ripe fruit. Made me wonder if fruit growing in a wat is somehow considered 'off limits'. Guess there's another question to research on the next trip. Sure was tempting to pick a few. ;o) | |||||||||||||||||||||
