Very nice, wish these people had cable.  

Did you shoot any versions in which you included more of the building on the left?  Or with more depth (with a more extreme angle)?

Sorry, there is a wooden figure of a boy in the water to the left wich I had to avoid, and this is a one off photo

On the subject of the original image, I like it. I wonder whether the colour balance is slightly off though? Thoughts?

Adrian's shot certainly has more depth.  It's a more striking image IMO.  But the original is a very valid image, it just depends on what one is trying to show.

As for the color difference, it is extreme.  Look at the trim on the 'building with four windows'.  It's blue in one version, yellow in the other.  I'm betting there was a paint job between shots.  That said the whites in the OP have a distinct cast.
