The time of day was working against you. The face of the cottage was in the shade. Look at all your shadow lines. All the 'stuff' in the frame (cottage, shrubbery, hills, etc.) are likely to be more interesting if you see detail rather than dark. And what would it be like if you were to stand on the 'right front' rather than the 'left front'? The windowless end of the cottage isn't very interesting and it looks like the other end has windows (and no dish). Are the hills in that direction scenic? | |||||||||||||||||||||
