Photographers Note:
On 57th str. between 5th and 6th is this skyscraper. I tried some shots to capture the reflections. See this Blog for some shots. I'd appreciate comments on the way the pics are taken. I realise cropping and photoshooping is the next step, but am more interested in advise on how to improve the way I take pictures.

The problem that I have with using the blog is that there's no way that I see for interactive discussion.

When I look at your blog pictures some of them are better (IMO) of using reflection as a subject than the picture you posted.  Perhaps you should bring what you consider the best one or two to the workshop....

The above picture strikes me as a somewhat uninteresting street scene.  I think it might be useful in a blog as a way to show your viewer where you were photographing but it doesn't say 'reflection' to me.

You're right about the posted shot. It's just an overview of the scene from where i was standing.
If you go to the blog and note the number of the fullsize picture you want to comment on you can use it in the reply to enter the shot you're referring to like this.

Problem I just encountered is that the blog pictures are reduced from 800x600 to 680x531 and can't be used with save as and then be submitted in a workshop reply.
Looks like a Jeber hick-up that can be corrected and then it's rather easy to use a blog for workshop discussions as well.

Most likely a waste of time for Ali.  Seems like I'm the only one who bothers to comment on people's pictures and my energy for doing so is waning.

- I think this one works best out of the series - though lacks the distinctive yellow cab.

Sorry I ain't been commenting much lately...
