| Bob Wallace (BobTrips) Msg: #2 July 2nd 2005 00:57:35 | Fun shot, lots of good color. But it seems to have some serious focus problems. (At least I think that's what causing the lack of crispness/detail.) I tried sharpening to see if that would fix it. Some improvement, I think, but not enough for a fix. Shouldn't be a shutter speed problem with 1/200 and 55 mm. Any problem with that lens? | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Ali Watters (Ali) Msg: #3 July 2nd 2005 01:47:35 | I think the Red Eye Flash might have caused the problem - there looks to be enough light not to need it - though ISO 200-400 would have been better on a cloudy day. (opinions?) At that distance I don't think the flash would have had any effect either, much better for use either in the dark, or where the background is very light and the foreground is dark. It fills in the detail in the foreground. Bob's sharpen does help though :) | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Jacqueline (Jackie) Msg: #4 July 2nd 2005 02:22:30 | Thanks Bob, the sharpen does help quit a bit. It is a bit fuzzy for 2 reasons 1) It has been cropped big time from a distant shot & 2) heres the bigg,y we were moving down the road, no where to pull off to get what I wanted and we were pressed for time. It was a bright over cast day too. But hey! It looks pretty good now Thanks | |||||||||||||||||||||
