Photographers Note: [cimage=775] [cthumb=775] This is the National Memorial of the Victims of War and Tyranny in Berlin. It is open to the elements and it was raining when I was there today. The sculpture is by a former East German artist that lost her son in WWI and his namesake and her grandson in WWII. It shows a mother clutching her dying son. Interred under it is a tomb of an unknown soldier and unknown concentration camp victim. | Image Details:
