Whitby Abbey
Adrian Warren

Photographers Note:
[cimage=1414] [cthumb=1414]
This ruined Abbey stands on the cliffs overlooking Whitby, Yorkshire. As with most ruined religious buildings in the UK this was destroyed during the reign of King Henry VIII.

Three lightsources in the picture; on the left of the Abbey is an installed sodium floodlight, on the front of the Abbey and the foreground is my torch, and the rest of the lighting is ambient from just after sunset.

Yes, it is a very special torch; if a bit on the heavy side. Ideal for painting with light though :)

Any thoughts on this shot?
