Photographers Note:
Unfortunately i got to close to the flower cutting the top and bottom off a little, but i was using a 50mm prime and a +4 closeup filter.

I don't think missing the tips of the petals is a problem.  I would consider cropping the photo on the sides to fill the frame with the flower.  The petals are really sharp, but I find the centre a bit blurry.  I think it's  related to depth of field though, and not focus/shake.  I tried cropping, and then just did an auto sharpen, which really helped the centre of the flower.  I also tried a bit of spot healing on the blurred flower in the upper left corner, to try to darken it a bit so it's not quite as yellow.
