In Costa Rica and in SEA.

I really like the somber color.  But I think a smaller aperture might have worked better to keep more of the blossom in focus.

I cropped the frame down a bit in an attempt to make the blossom more dominate and then used a bit of selective sharpening to see if I could create an appearance of focus.  I didn't work hard at getting it right, just enough to give you an idea that might work.  (Besides I suspect that you have a lot more PS skill than I.  ;o)

I like what you've done with the cropping.  I'll have to dig out the original for this (all I remember is that it was slide film) and see if I happened to have written down any notes about what settings I used.  I do remember thinking after we'd walked away from where this was shot that I should have tried a few more shots with different settings.
