Flora and Fauna [club=14]

This is the Jeber club for those of us who like to get close to nature. Our focus is on capturing and sharing our views of the beautiful cornucopia provided by the natural world around us.

Almost all is welcome to this indulgence for the eyes and creative mind; plants, flowers, trees and animals.  The only views of natural world that are discouraged in this club are Pets, Insects and Landscapes (small vignettes are acceptable) for we here at Jeber have clubs better suited for such subjects; Just Dogs, Buzz, Chirp, Munch and The Blind Pig respectively.  Macro shots are encouraged when applicable but photos need not be that limited. Species names are desired but not mandatory. If you should know the identity of an unnamed species please feel free to provide that information via the workshop or a private communiqué to the photographer.

One of the many wonders provided by Jeber is our Club Workshop. The Workshop is an invaluable vehicle offering us the opportunity to grow on an individual level as well as a community.  Constructive critiques in our club are highly encouraged; be they simple written thoughts to tweaks made in post processing.  Our Workshop will only be able to achieve its goals as long as all parties involved are honest while maintaining a positive attitude and an open mind.    

A thought to please keep in mind:

Critique - a written or broadcast assessment of something, usually a creative work, with comments on its good and bad qualities offered in a manner to provide growth and enlightenment.

Criticism - a spoken or written opinion of what is wrong or bad about somebody or something done in a mean spirited manner.

We are here to help one another sharpen our skills and see things in a different light.  Everyone here is right, no one will be wrong but yet we will all be different.
